Neighborhood Watch Program

Neighborhood Watch Program Logo

Neighborhood Watch is a time proven program that discourages crime in a community. Neighbors learn to watch out for each other and aggressively report suspicious activity. In today’s environment of fewer officers and more crime, the only method left to combat crime is to get citizens more actively involved.

How to Start a Neighborhood Watch

Contact Sheriff Jim Adkins at (541) 475-6520. You will be asked to schedule a meeting and find a convenient location to hold it. This may be a living room, garage, den, backyard, community room, fire station, etc.  The meeting will last about 45 minutes and will cover current crime stats and the Neighborhood Watch program.
