Pursuant to ORS 565.210, the Jefferson County Fair Complex is operated by our Fair Board. The Board is responsible for managing the facility, setting policy and producing the annual County Fair. The fair board consists of between five and seven members. Each member serves a 3-year term, renewable at the discretion of the County Commission. 

The Jefferson County Fair Board is an all-volunteer working board. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 5:00 PM in the commission chambers. Please feel free to come and join us.

2024 Fair
  Jefferson County Fair and Rodeo: July 24 to 27, 2024

The Jefferson County Fairgrounds is made up of 50-plus acres located on Fairgrounds Road in the south part of Madras.

Fifteen buildings and barns, situated in a park-like setting, cover just under 100,000 square feet. The fairgrounds offers several events on a year round basis, hosting over 80,000 people each year, and using the fairgrounds for approximately 200 events.
