Property Values Appeals Board Forms are available after property tax notices have been mailed from the County Assessor's Office.

Petitions must be accepted by 5 p.m., Monday January 2nd or by mail and post dated by January 2, 2024, (due to observance of the New's Years Holiday Dec. 31st).

NOTICE OF SESSION:  The Board of Property Tax Appeals will convene March 11, 2024 at 9:00 am in the Jefferson County Administration Building Conference Room / 66 SE D St. / Madras, OR.   The board will discuss policy and determine the schedule for hearings.  The B0PTA purpose is hear petitions for reduction of the real market, maximum assessed, specially assessed, or assessed value of property as of January 1, 2023, or as determined under ORS 308.456(5)(a), ORS 308.146(6)(a), or ORS 308.428.  The Public is Welcome.
