Appointments

In order to best serve you, our office operates by scheduled appointments only. If you would like to make an appointment, please call 541-475-5228 or send an email to VeteransServiceOffice@co.jefferson.or.us.

Generally, sending an e-mail to our office is the best way to contact us.  Both Veterans Service Officers receive voicemails and incoming emails addressed to the above.  Many times, we are in conference with other Veterans or Veteran families and rely heavily on voicemail and email communications.

If you send an email or leave a voicemail, please provide the following:

• Name and/or the Veteran’s name you are referencing
• Last four numbers of the Veteran’s social security number
• A contact phone number
• Best time to reach you
• What you are calling about.  The more information you provide initially, allows us to provide you with as much accurate information as possible when we call back.

Provided you have a voicemail account, we will leave a message when we call you back.

Please Note: Our office experiences a high volume of correspondence and we do not have secretarial support staff. Your concerns and questions are very important to us. We will respond to your correspondence as soon as possible. If you have not received a response within a full working week, please let us know.
