Fire Chief Blake

NEW FIRE CHIEF SWORN IN

After an extensive search lasting over a year, the new Fire Chief, Jeff Blake, a retiree from Bend Fire & Rescue was sworn in during an Open House event at the Madras fire station on March 3, 2022. Chief Blake has already begun aligning Jefferson County Fire District 1 with Jefferson County EMS at the direction of the boards from both agencies. Chiefs from both agencies are working cohesively and the agencies should be fully integrated by July 1, 2022.
