RV Park Rules and Regulations
- Renter agrees they are renting this space for vacation occupancy and not as a principal residence. Jefferson County RV Park is dedicated to recreational use and is not intended to be used as a residential site.
- Current driver’s license, registration and insurance must be presented.
- Credit or Debit card only. No cash or checks accepted!
- FEES: Full Hookups – Spaces 2 thru 50 (30 amp) $30/night or $210/week; Spaces 51 thru 66 (50 amp) $35/night or $245/week; Tent (no hookups) - $15/night; A 9% City Tax and 1.5% State Tax will be added to all fees and fees must be paid in advance. Two persons per space with an additional $1.00 charge for each additional adult.
- All services will be locked on the first day of non-payment and the camp must vacate the premises.
- Maximum length of stay: 14 days (camps must vacate after 14 days and may return after 48 hours)
- Tent camping allowed March 15th thru September 30th.
- One RV per space with one additional vehicle. To protect the park atmosphere there will be no major repairs performed in the park on RV’s and vehicles. No oil changes in the park.
- RV’s are not to be delivered to the Park by a third party.
- Check in with camp host before connecting to hook-ups.
- All sewer hook-ups are required to be airtight. Screw-in connections must be used and sewer hoses shall be off the ground and drain to sewer. No leaking sewer lines or connections.
- During freezing weather all water connections must be heat-taped from RV connection to concrete base of hose bib.
- 5-MPH speed limit for ALL vehicles throughout the RV Park and Fairgrounds.
- Mutilation or removal of any park property will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
- All sites are to be kept free of litter/trash, including cigarette and cigar butts.
- Outdoor fires must be restricted to portable stoves or barbecues. No fire shall be left unattended.
- No concessions or sales may be operated in the park area.
- Garbage containers are provided at front entrance to the RV Park. All household garbage shall be bagged. (Please crush all boxes and plastic containers.)
- Pets in the park area must be confined in vehicles. A leash (8 ft maximum) must be used when pets are being exercised. Pets are not to be left unattended when outside. Pets are not allowed around or in public restrooms. A maximum of two pets allowed per site. Waste from pets must be cleaned up and properly disposed of.
- Horses are not permitted in RV Park area.
- Children should be supervised at all times for their own protection.
- Quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- Restroom Usage: Ask camp host for door code.
- Group gatherings should be kept to a minimum, so as not to annoy neighbors.
- No reservations will be accepted during major events except from those directly involved in the event, such as Samboree, County Fair, or other groups/activities unless space is available. Members of organizations who have booked events at the fair complex will take priority when reserving camping spaces. If space is available during scheduled events, it will be offered on a first come first served basis.
- Park discounts will be given to members of the following organizations: Veteran (must show ID card), AARP, Good Sams, Excapees, Passport America. (Maximum discount is 10%) Discounts do not apply to stays during booked events at the fair complex. Only one membership discount may be used per night.
- Management shall have the authority to remove from the RV Park area anyone in violation of the above Rules & Regulations including disorderly conduct or use of illegal drugs.
- Management reserves the right to close the RV Park at any time with a 14-day notice.
- Guests will not be able to receive mail at the park. Please get a PO Box.
- Refunds for cancellations are given if a 24 hour advanced notice is given prior to arrival date, or for unexpected emergencies. All refunds are processed via method of original payment. Refunds may take up to 7 business days to process.
