Jefferson County Buildings and Grounds Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of Juniper Hills Park, Panorama Park, and the county RV Park. Juniper Hills Park was built in 1992 with donated land and grant money. The donated land generously came from the Bean Foundation. The park has three little league fields, four softball fields, and two Olympic size soccer fields for many uses. There are two bathroom facilities, one by the softball fields and the other by the soccer fields. There is a total of 2.3 miles of paved walking path with beautiful scenery. A nine hole Frisbee golf course is in the works with projected completion in mid summer 2005.
Panorama Park is located in Crooked River Ranch at the corner of Panorama Circle and Peninsula Drive. It is a five acre park with paved walking paths and restroom facilities. This is a day-use park with breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains.
The Jefferson County RV Park is a convenient Central Oregon park adjacent to the Fairgrounds and offers 65 spaces, with 30 amp & 50 amp full hook ups. Our camp host is located in space 1 as you enter the facility.
The park is easily accessible from U.S. Highway 97 or Highway 361 and includes nearby restroom/shower facilities.
