Jefferson County Juvenile Justice Department  promotes public safety and a healthy community by:

• Holding youths accountable to the community and their victims
• Developing and accessing evidence-based resources to help youth gain skills and develop competencies so future criminal and delinquent activity is avoided and further victimization is prevented
• Providing early intervention and prevention services to youth before serious problems emerge.
